Biomedical Analyst with Physiological Focus

As a biomedical analyst with us, you will work with various types of examinations focusing on investigating and diagnosing diseases of the nervous system. You will perform neurophysiological examinations such as electroneurography (ENeG) and electroencephalography (EEG).

You will also actively contribute to quality assurance, method development, and the implementation of new working methods. In your role, you will collaborate closely with doctors and other professionals, providing both patients and colleagues with support and information during examinations.

About You

You are a licensed biomedical analyst with a physiological focus. Experience in clinical neurophysiology is an advantage but not a requirement – we offer guidance and introduction. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and have a genuine interest in technology and patient contact. You work well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner.

At the Diagnostic Center, more than six million analyses, examinations, and treatments are performed annually. Our county-wide operations are located at the hospitals in Kalmar, Oskarshamn, and Västervik.

We have 260 employees working in the units of clinical pathology, clinical microbiology, clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine, clinical physiology and nuclear medicine, infection control and healthcare hygiene, as well as biobank and tissue center.
