About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained healthcare assistant. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in healthcare, particularly in radiology.

Your Future Workplace

The radiology clinic is a medium-sized clinic that offers opportunities for both breadth and specialization within our various professions. We have over 100 employees who contribute in various ways to develop and manage new knowledge within the different examinations we offer, both urgent and elective. At the clinic, doctors, radiographers, nurses, healthcare assistants, and medical secretaries work together.

The clinic is staffed every day of the week, and you will be scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts.

The operation is constantly evolving, and new technology is integrated into the work. We work with a modern machine park including CT, plain radiography, MRI, angiography, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy. Work is ongoing to have PET-CT in place by 2026, and an expansion of MRI diagnostics is also in progress. Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with specialist care, maternity care, and postnatal care. Over 2300 people work here to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's residents. Our employees' continuous development efforts lead to good results in several national measurements. The hospital is located near Kalmar city center and Kalmarsund.
