About us

The treatment home Kärrdal is located in a calm and safe residential area in Hisingen, Gothenburg. Kärrdal receives children and young people aged 11 to 15 years with relational, family, and school issues combined with psychosocial problems. It is common to have neuropsychiatric additional problems, where symptoms such as destructiveness and aggression have become visible.

About the role

Your main tasks include:

• Contact person assignment

• Care in the form of direct treatment work

• Participation in investigative work

• Network contacts

• Documentation and development work

We work with evidence-based methods, primarily focusing on clarifying pedagogy and based on MI and LAB.

The position is a permanent employment at 100%. Work occurs during daytime, evening, night, and weekends. Salary is according to agreement, and other compensations are according to collective agreements. Start date is according to agreement.

As a person, you are responsible, relationship-building, flexible, and secure. In this role, it is important that you show great empathy while having the ability to set boundaries when necessary. The work involves close and trusting collaboration with your colleagues, so you must have good communication and collaboration skills. We place great importance on personal suitability. A criminal record check will be required before employment.

• Be educated as a social pedagogue, social worker, treatment pedagogue, or have another completed 2-year post-secondary education that the employer considers equivalent

• Have experience in treatment work

• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

• Have good computer skills as documentation is extensive

• Have a B driver's license
