Transition Advisor at Trygghetsfonden TSL

Trygghetsfonden TSL is now looking for a transition advisor with a primary focus on Gävleborg County!

Trygghetsfonden TSL is the transition organization for workers within the collective agreements of the Swedish Business Confederation and LO. This means that we support individuals who are laid off or end a fixed-term employment to find new jobs, as well as guide those who are employed to strengthen their future position in the labor market. Our support covers 2 million employees in 80,000 companies.

We now need to strengthen our team in Region Norr with a Transition Advisor. The team currently consists of a regional delivery manager and another advisor in addition to you.

About the Role

As our transition advisor, you will start and implement transition projects together with companies and trade unions in connection with layoffs and redundancies. The geographical area of responsibility is Region Norr, with a primary focus on Gävleborg County, Västernorrland, and Jämtland.

You will coordinate the initial contact with laid-off employees, and together with colleagues and our partners, you will have the opportunity to offer them access to Trygghetsfonden TSL's transition support. This will take place through personal meetings, often at workplaces in the region.

As our ambassador, you will also proactively inform about our offerings through travel and meetings primarily within your geographical area of responsibility, but also occasionally in other parts of the country. Trygghetsfonden TSL's work is based on local presence but is also conducted in close collaboration across regional borders.

Your Responsibilities

• Inform about Trygghetsfonden TSL and the services and programs we offer through workplace visits, trade fair participation, and phone calls.
• Start, coordinate, drive, and be responsible for transition projects in collaboration with trade unions and companies.
• Provide information and advice for the future in a transition situation.
• Conduct mapping conversations with laid-off individuals and those who have ended a fixed-term employment, and inspire them to take part in Trygghetsfonden TSL's support.
• Conduct quality follow-ups of Trygghetsfonden TSL's services.
• Contribute to the development of Trygghetsfonden TSL's operations both locally and regionally.

Location for the Position: Gävle

Who We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you should have post-secondary education in a relevant field and experience supporting individuals who are unemployed or about to lose their jobs. We prefer that you have around 7 years of relevant work experience. You have experience in administrative work and feel confident in a coordinating role. You have good knowledge of conversation methodology and are accustomed to building trusting relationships.

We also prefer that you have good general knowledge of the labor market. Additionally, it is advantageous if you have good knowledge of the local education and labor market as well as connections in the local business community and local LO unions.

The position requires good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are prerequisites for the job.

It is important that you thrive in an independent, communicative, and responsible role. For you, structure, planning, and driving work forward are essential. You find it stimulating to handle multiple tasks and that no two days are alike. You are motivated by being part of a team and achieving success in your work through dialogue and relationships with others.
