Welcome to us

We are looking for substitute workers with a driver's license and interest or experience in workshop work and park maintenance!

You enjoy working outdoors, are comfortable driving a car and using tools, are flexible, and have an interest in working with people.

The assignment involves work in two daily activities. One of the activities has been established for many years, focusing on workshop tasks such as carpentry, furniture repair, and various assignments around the city where a car or bus is used.

The other activity is completely new and is currently in the planning stage. It will work with park maintenance and be responsible for the same park year-round. The tasks vary by season and may include planting, maintenance of green areas, simple upkeep, and other outdoor-related tasks.

Your role

As a substitute worker, you support the participants in their daily work and contribute to a safe, meaningful, and developing work environment.

The support is designed together with the participant and is based on their individual abilities and wishes, as well as the order from the assistance officer.

As a substitute worker, your tasks include:

  • performing and guiding tasks within the workshop, driving, and park maintenance
  • working independently and taking responsibility in daily tasks
  • planning and structuring work for the participants
  • supporting, motivating, and guiding participants in their tasks
  • documenting and following up on efforts according to the participant's implementation plan
  • using and, if necessary, developing pedagogical and communicative tools
  • collaborating with colleagues in the activity

The activity is aimed at adults with disabilities within the autism spectrum, neuropsychiatric diagnoses, and intellectual disabilities.

The work is based on respect, safety, and participation, in accordance with the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). We offer individually tailored support based on each participant's needs, wishes, and possibilities.

Your skills and experience
