Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions
We work for everyone living here today and in the future. We are now looking for you who want to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.
Welcome to us
We are looking for someone who enjoys a varied job in a changing environment where one day is not like the other.
The target group for labor market initiatives is individuals with long-term unemployment, psychosocial issues, dependency issues, and/or health problems. The primary mission of the operation is to promote individuals based on their conditions to achieve basic work prerequisites and ultimately reach the goal of self-sufficiency. The operation provides 45 places in Publicly Protected Employment (OSA), and the goal for OSA is to give the employee the conditions to achieve lasting work in the open labor market.
The workgroup consists of a unit manager, group leaders, employment consultants/coordinators, OSA administrators, four supervisors, eleven work instructors, and an administrator.
We offer
We offer you a workplace with high participation in operational planning and follow-up of the operation's goals. With us, innovative thinking and creativity are encouraged. Each individual employee is given the opportunity to deepen their competence to best focus on the people of Stockholm.
Work environment and health are important to us. We offer wellness benefits, flexible working hours, summer working hours, and the possibility of vacation exchange.
Your role
In your role as an OSA administrator, you have overall responsibility for individuals in Publicly Protected Employment (OSA). You work with the individual at the center and own the entire process – from the initial startup to the conclusion of employment. Your task is to act as the spider in the web for our OSA employees and create conditions for individual development through close support and clear goals.
Your main tasks include establishing, implementing, and following up on individual action plans, managing decision-making materials, and establishing employment contracts, as well as conducting regular follow-up conversations where you, together with the individual and responsible management, assess progress and goals.
To succeed in the role, you are flexible and have the ability to create trusting relationships and can see the whole picture as the work involves many contacts with the OSA employees' networks, such as the Employment Service, Job Center, care institutions, and other internal and external professionals.
Your competence and experience
You have a degree in social work or another higher education that is deemed equivalent by the employer. We expect that you have experience working with the target group and have good knowledge of labor market initiatives. Since ongoing documentation is included, it is important that you are used to expressing yourself in writing. You should have good communication skills and be able to work independently and take your own initiative. You are relationship-building with a good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. You are calm, stable, and provide the individual with the support needed to move forward in the change process.
It is a merit if you have training in Motivational Interviewing (MI), domestic violence (VINR), in children's rights, for example, SKR's children's rights strategist training, as well as the city's operational system for labor market operations VERA.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Other
When you make your application, you will be asked to answer a number of selection questions that form the basis for our continued selection work. Interviews will begin before the application period ends, and selection will occur continuously. A probationary period may be applied.
Welcome with your application! The City of Stockholm works with competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's competence and thus counteracting discrimination.
