We at Nordström Assistans are now looking for you who have your heart in the right place and want to enrich a person's life with special support.About the positionWe are currently seeking a personal assistant for an active 74-year-old woman living centrally in Hammarby Sjöstad. The position is a part-time job as needed and during the absence of regular staff. Our client has a great interest in culture, food, sports, art, literature, and taking care of her flowers on the balcony during the summer. The client has aphasia and apraxia following a stroke, which has resulted in significant difficulties expressing herself verbally. The tasks include walks, coffee breaks, various household chores, and providing support during doctor visits, training, grocery shopping, and cooking.The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Mon-Fri.

About youAs a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our client. You will be an important part of their life and contribute to their independence and well-being. We believe that you who are applying for this position are a person who is attentive, responsible, flexible, and cooperative. The most important thing is that there is a personal chemistry between you as the applicant and the client. This may become decisive in the final selection.You must meet the following requirements:

• Have experience in personal assistance and/or care and support,
• Have completed a care-related education,
• Have fluent knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written,
• Be non-smoker,
• Not be allergic to pets,
• Be able to present a valid extract from your criminal record from the police upon potential employment.

It is an advantage if you:

• Share the client's interests,
• Hold a B driver's license,
• Have experience working with individuals who have aphasia and/or apraxia, or other neurological disabilities following a stroke.

Scope: Extra/as needed. Number of positions: 1. Start date: Immediately. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position will be filled as soon as possible. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
