The Social Intervention Group (SIG) Family Support and Adult is an organization that has worked for many years to support relatives of individuals involved in crime and to help those individuals leave a criminal lifestyle.
We have now received funding from the Crime Victim Authority to develop our work with the target group of crime victims.

In SIG, you will have the opportunity to closely collaborate with coordinators within SIG Family Support and the rest of the SIG team to create conditions for working with crime victims. You will have the chance to truly make a difference in people's lives.

Your role
You will work closely with the method developer for the work with crime victims as well as with the rest of the SIG team.
The role of a guide means that you will provide individually tailored practical support and crisis management to crime victims – children and adults – affected by organized crime linked to gang environments or violent extremism. You will also coordinate efforts from various actors to increase safety and continuity.
The work takes place in various locations depending on the needs of the individuals you are working with and may sometimes need to be performed outside of office hours.
The work also includes:
- Training/information for relevant professionals
- Marketing and information dissemination to reach those affected
Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience working with the target group of crime victims
- Knowledge of crime and its processes
- Understanding of and knowledge about security issues/assessments
- Knowledge of and understanding of the social services' mission and functions
- Experience working with children as relatives
- Driver's license (B)
- MI training and feel comfortable working with it
- Cultural awareness
- Higher education or other training deemed suitable by the employer
It is also meritorious if you have:
- Experience in crisis management
- Systems theory
- Knowledge of the legal system and how it works
- Experience working with adults as relatives
- Knowledge of outreach work
- Knowledge of violence
