About the Position

In the role of support assistant, you will start from each resident's individual needs and wishes. You will provide support in daily life and collaborate with colleagues to ensure that the residents receive the support and guidance they need. The tasks include personal care, meals, medication management, practical tasks, and support during leisure activities both inside and outside the home.

The group home is staffed around the clock. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and nights. During the night, a sleeping on-call duty applies. The position is a permanent full-time employment.

About You

For this position, you need to:

• Have completed a child and leisure program, health and care program with a focus on social work, or nursing education with a focus on disabilities, autism, or equivalent education.
• Experience working with the target group within LSS
• Good knowledge of AAC
• Knowledge of conversation methodology
• Good knowledge of social documentation
• Experience working in digital systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
• Have a driver's license

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Knowledge of low-arousal approaches

About Us

Flygfältets group home 2 is located in Norrtälje and currently has six residents. It is a residence for individuals belonging to group 1 in LSS. We are a small, stable workgroup with varying education. We have support assistants and nursing assistants working with us. Together, we offer our residents support, care, and assistance based on each individual's needs, conditions, and wishes outlined in the implementation plan.

We are part of Tiohundra – the complete care company in Roslagen.
