Personal Assistant Wanted

Hello!

My name is Björn, I am 30 years old and live in an apartment near Hornstull in Stockholm. I am now looking for a personal assistant who can become part of my team. I have several dedicated and experienced assistants who have worked with me for a long time – and we look forward to welcoming the right person.

About Me

I have recently undergone a change in my life situation that means I now have a greater need for support in my daily life. I use a wheelchair and need help with transfers, personal care, tube feeding (I have a PEG), and other practical support in my adapted home.

Rehabilitation is an important part of my daily life moving forward, and therefore the work may involve double assistance at several times.

About the Job

As a personal assistant, you will help me with most things in my daily life – from basic care to household chores, meals, and creating structure in the day. The work is performed both independently and in collaboration with colleagues.

About the Position

The position is a scheduled employment of between 50-100%. Please indicate in your application what degree of employment you desire. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and nights (with sleeping on-call). 24-hour shifts may also occur.

About You

I am looking for someone who is:

• Flexible, attentive, and secure
• Thorough and responsible
• Used to taking initiative and working both independently and in a team

Your age or gender does not matter – the most important thing is that you have good judgment and a genuine commitment.

Requirements

• You are smoke-free
• You speak and write fluent Swedish, as I communicate with body language and sounds

Meritorious

• Experience working with double assistance or rehabilitation
• Knowledge of PEG and tube feeding (can also be learned on-site)
• Previous work as a personal assistant – but the right attitude and willingness to learn are the most important
