Do you want to contribute to increasing knowledge about mental health, reducing stigma, and creating hope?
Mind is looking for a project manager focused on content production for our Knowledge and Influence team. The role is central to our work in developing target group-adapted material that strengthens, affirms, and provides support.
About Mind
Mind is a non-profit organization working for mental health and suicide prevention. We offer support through helplines, spread knowledge, and engage in advocacy and influence work. Our vision is a society where people with mental health issues and psychiatric conditions are respected, receive the support they need, and where no one should find themselves in a situation where the only option feels like taking their own life.
Project on Eating Disorders
Currently, there is a project on eating disorders funded by Region Stockholm. The activities planned for 2026 include developing content for Mind.se that is knowledge-enhancing, supportive, and contributes to broadening the perspective on who can be affected and that recovery is possible. The target groups for the project are individuals living with eating disorders, their relatives, and professionals who encounter them in their work.
About the Role
As the project manager for Mind's knowledge support, you will be responsible for creating and developing content on Mind.se (the pages Support & Knowledge). You will ensure that the material is of high quality, fact-checked, and follows our tonal guidelines. Initially, the focus will be on eating disorders, but the role will also encompass other areas within mental health.
You will report to the head of Knowledge and Influence and will become part of a team working on various projects and initiatives related to mental health, illness, and suicide.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop material that increases knowledge, reduces shame and stigma, and provides hope.
- Create materials for films, exercises, and tools.
- Ensure that existing content is updated and fact-checked.
- Work closely with target groups to understand their needs and wishes.
- Collaborate with external parties such as other organizations and researchers.
- Represent Mind externally, for example in panel discussions.
- Participate in Mind's editorial work.
We are looking for someone who has
- Relevant higher education, such as journalism, communication, or social work.
- Knowledge of mental health and illness.
- Several years of experience in target group-oriented work and project management.
- Experience collaborating with other professionals to achieve common goals.
- Ability to plan and deliver with structure and quality.
- Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
Meritorious
- In-depth knowledge of the needs of target groups.
- Enjoys representing externally.
Personal Qualities
- You are structured, results-oriented, and have good collaboration skills.
- Responsive, unpretentious, and curious.
- Good at collaborating with others, seeing others' perspectives, and the needs of the organization as a whole.
- Independent and proactive.
- You are pedagogical and confident in presenting to a group.
We value diversity
A common background to mental health issues is discrimination. We want to contribute to changing structural imbalances and become more representative of our broad target group. Therefore, we welcome you to contribute to increased diversity with your background and experience.
Welcome with your application!
