Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily life.
About the position
The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done. Our customer lives with her partner in an apartment in Upplands Väsby. She has a great interest in fashion, film, photography, and crafts. She also enjoys traveling and going out. The workplace may vary depending on which events the customer participates in. We are looking for someone who is active, enjoys when things happen, and likes a flexible job. You are reliable, punctual, and have a sense of service.
We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
wants to work with a woman in her 29s living in Upplands Väsby
has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the customer is an influencer and you will be an important part of daily life by supporting with reading, writing, and communication
can tolerate cigarette smoke, as the customer smokes
can tolerate pets (dogs)
It is also advantageous if you:
have experience in similar work
have experience communicating using Bliss or similar
share the customer's interests
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Working hours, employment rate, and salary:
The current form of employment is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 75%. The job involves work during daytime, evening, and nighttime. Working hours are distributed according to a rolling schedule with two periods:
Period 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday between 08:00-18:00/18:30
Period 2: Tuesday and Wednesday between 08:00-18:00/18:30 and Friday between 18:00-08:00 and Saturday between 19:00-09:00 (with 5 hours on-call)
Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana
A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
