Personal Assistance - Respite and Companion Workers

We are currently looking for respite and companion workers for assignments throughout Norrtälje Municipality.

We seek active and confident individuals who want to contribute to a meaningful everyday life as companions and respite workers.

About the Position

The role of a companion aims to enable an active leisure time outside the home by providing support to and from, as well as during cultural and leisure activities. The assignment can be on a continuous basis or as needed. The number of hours for each companionship varies.

The role of a respite worker involves relieving family members and assisting the client in their home. The assignment varies in hours and is often on a regular basis.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Assistance with leisure activities
• Personal care
• Dressing/undressing

About You

For this position, you need:

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience from similar assignments
• Experience with NPF or other disabilities

We are looking for someone who is confident and has an easy time connecting with new people. You can work independently and can lead and support individuals who need guidance, security, and to increase their own independence in their daily lives. Your contribution makes a significant difference.
