JOB DESCRIPTION

As a school psychologist, you will collaborate with the school's staff in the overall health-promoting and preventive work. As a psychologist, you will provide psychological expertise to support the educational work, in the overall planning and development of the student health routines.

The work also involves tasks such as investigation, consultation, and supervision, as well as training for preschool and school staff. As a school psychologist, you are an important part of the preventive work to strengthen students' mental health for increased school attendance and better goal fulfillment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist and have several years of experience working with children and youth. You have the ability to structure your work based on the needs of the organization and have very good collaboration skills. We wish for you to be a person with great commitment to highlight and profile student health issues and initiate development work. We want you to see the importance of collaborating with all competencies in student health, working with supportive and preventive measures, and that you have an inclusive perspective.

Your approach should focus on seeking strengths and resources and emphasize the individual's opportunities for development in schoolwork, behavior, and interaction. Good knowledge of developmental psychology and testing methodology is a prerequisite.

We expect you to have good communication skills and be able to express yourself well in both speech and writing. You also have the ability to work independently and plan, prioritize, and organize your work.

The position requires a driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability for the position.
