The Hospitals in the West is an administration within the Västra Götaland Region, consisting of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. Are you a nurse looking to work in cardiology care?

Ward 5 is an internal medicine ward with a cardiology focus. We care for acutely ill heart patients and provide aftercare following heart surgery, but we also care for other internal medicine patients. We work with rapid investigations and examinations to meet our patients' care needs. The ward has 23 beds and the possibility for telemetry monitoring. Ward 5 is also a UVA ward for nursing students, with resources to make the placement with us as good as possible.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with experience in cardiology care. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities such as flexibility and teamwork. You have a good attitude, are innovative, and take initiative.

Working Hours

The employment will cover all hours of the day, which means that shifts may also be scheduled at night.

Conditions

The employment is a temporary position from 2026-03-02 to 2027-02-28.
