The Hospitals in the West is an administration within the Västra Götaland Region and consists of four hospitals – Alingsås Hospital, Angered Local Hospital, Högsbo Local Hospital, and Kungälv Hospital. Your Future Workplace

Ward 7 is an internal medicine care ward primarily focused on gastroenterology, hepatology, diabetes, and hematology.

The work on the ward is knowledge-intensive, developing, and exciting. There is a very broad competence among both nurses and nursing assistants as the general medicine ward handles many different diagnoses outside the specific focus. We work in teams, which means that all professions - nurses, nursing assistants, paramedics, and doctors - work together with the patient, so good collaboration is important to us. Our focus is on continuously improving the close care for our patients. Our driving forces are joy, presence, and commitment.

As a nursing assistant with us, you will be part of interdisciplinary teams together with doctors and nurses in the daily care of patients with primarily medical conditions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a focus on emergency care. As a person, we appreciate that you are responsible, structured, and engaged, and you are not afraid to take your own initiatives. You are also flexible and positive in situations that require a little extra. We value good teamwork for a good work environment and job satisfaction, which is why you need to have good collaboration skills.

Nursing Assistant Protected Title

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is a protected title. This means that you will need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant within healthcare and social services.
