Calibration Technician Wanted at RaySafe

ABOUT THE POSITION

RaySafe is a fast-growing international company that develops, manufactures, and markets instruments for measuring X-ray radiation. The application of the instruments includes quality control of X-ray machines as well as radiation protection for personnel. Academic Work is now looking for students for part-time jobs during the semesters as calibration technicians at RaySafe. You will receive a thorough introduction and work with colleagues whose extensive experience in the field will provide you with a great start, hence no technical prior knowledge is required.

The work shifts are in the afternoons from 4 PM to 8 PM as standard, and you will work two weekdays a week. In addition, you are expected to have the opportunity to work full-time during selected weeks in the summer. RaySafe's office is located in Hovås, and it is easy to get there by public transport from central Gothenburg.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

  • Work with test measurements and calibration of radiation instruments
  • Certify instruments for service
  • Check service documents
  • Deliver test reports to technicians who address any deficiencies

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Is a student at a university/college with at least 2 years left of your education
  • Can start your introduction immediately - during the introduction, you will work full days
  • Can work two weekday evenings a week during the semesters
  • Can work full-time during the summer
  • Has some type of work experience, preferably in a technical field
  • Has good knowledge of both Swedish and English as both languages are used within the company

It is a plus if you have

  • Experience working with various types of measuring instruments
  • Studying a program with a technical focus
