Mid-term Position for a Midwife at Norra Botkyrka Midwifery Clinic

We are looking for a midwife for a 100% temporary position at Norra Botkyrka Midwifery Clinic, where a part of the job involves rotation to other clinics on the southern side.

About us:

Norra Botkyrka Midwifery Clinic consists of four midwives and is part of Fittja's family center. Through collaboration with BVC, open preschool, and parenting support, our goal is to create good conditions for our pregnant women and their children in preparation for the upcoming parent role.

The catchment area is multicultural, and you will have the opportunity to make long-term differences in every meeting. In addition to pregnancy check-ups, we work with contraceptive counseling, STI testing, gynecological cell sampling, and various types of parenting support.

Job responsibilities:

Standard tasks at the midwifery clinic such as pregnancy check-ups, contraceptive counseling, STI testing, gynecological cell sampling, telephone counseling, and various types of parenting support. We offer onboarding, and the time varies based on your previous experiences. The position is a full-time temporary position, and you will belong to Norra Botkyrka Midwifery Clinic, but a part of the job involves rotation to other clinics on the southern side.

Qualifications:

We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife with prescribing rights. Experience working in the journal systems Obstetrix and Takecare is preferred. Previous work at a midwifery clinic is an advantage.

Employment form:

Temporary position 100% from March to the end of September 2026.

We are looking for someone who, like us, is curious, engaged, secure in their role, and has a good ability for both independent work and teamwork. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
