We are now looking for a committed and responsible nurse, preferably with further education as a district nurse, for our health center.

The position will be vacant as our current district nurse goes on parental leave.

About us

Segeltorps Health Center is a region-driven health center located in an older residential area in Huddinge municipality, about 5 minutes by bus from Fruängen. We have approximately 7300 registered patients, many of whom are elderly. We have a well-functioning and well-organized home care with about 60 registered patients. We work a lot with close care and have a well-developed collaboration with other actors. Our team of about 25 employees is a safe and cohesive group consisting of doctors, nurses, district nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, medical foot care specialists, geriatricians, nursing assistants, REKO, and medical secretaries. Many of us have worked here for a long time and we are very proud of our fine health center and the care we provide. About the position

The position includes usual tasks for a nurse/district nurse in primary care, such as:

• Reception work with planned and acute visits.
• Telephone advice.
• Vaccination work including planning, management, and follow-up.
• Work in the TakeCare journal system.
• Collaboration in teams around patient care.

In addition, a coordination assignment is included, among other things:

• Coordination of vaccination activities.
• Support to the unit manager in planning staffing during absence and vacation.
• Overall responsibility for structure and flows within reception work.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse.
• District nurse education is an advantage.
• Previous work at a health center and good knowledge of the health center assignment is an advantage.
• Education/experience in vaccinations including planning and management is an advantage.
• Experience with the TakeCare journal system.
• Driver's license and driving experience are advantageous.
• Knowledge of home care.

Employment form

We offer a temporary position until 31/8 2027 with good opportunities for extension. Appointment will be made by agreement.

• register control is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching instructions for register control at employment.
• employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health care before employment.
• requires, in addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the common European framework (CEFR). The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
