About us

Skoga is a nursing home operated by Solna Municipality.

The facility is beautifully located with a lovely garden in Huvudsta, Solna. Our profile focuses on gardening, nature, and outdoor activities, and we offer our residents a varied daily life with both individual and group activities. There are 100 apartments and about 120 employees. We are highly engaged with our residents and strive to make everyday life as good as possible.

What does the job entail?

Typical tasks include ADL assessments, trial and prescription of assistive devices, functional and activity assessments, and training staff in transfer techniques and rehabilitative approaches. Documentation is done in the Life Care journal system.

You will share rehabilitation responsibilities for the residents at Skoga with your colleague, as well as for our short-term and respite care department. The work largely consists of teamwork, but you also need to be able to work independently.

Who are we looking for?

Your personal qualities are important to us. We are looking for a positive and flexible person with a passion for the elderly, good communication skills, and a friendly demeanor. You need to be structured and good at organizing and following up on your work, but also be prepared to adapt plans when changes occur in the operations. To thrive in this role, you should enjoy taking initiative and starting activities. It is important that you can work independently but also enjoy teamwork.

In addition to the above, we expect you to:

• be a licensed occupational therapist
• have clinical experience and experience in elderly care is an advantage but not a requirement
• master the Swedish language well in both speech and writing.
