Gynecological Ward 72

We are now seeking midwives and nurses with an interest in women's health care. Are you a nurse or midwife who wants to work in a pleasant and competent team? Then Ward 72 might be the right place for you.

Job Description

The work on the ward has a strong focus on collaboration, and we work selflessly to do the best for our patients while caring for our good work environment.

We work as a team with the patient in focus. The ward has 10 inpatient care places where acute care is provided, and we receive women primarily from the gynecological emergency department. We also care for patients coming for elective surgeries, focusing on pre- and post-operative care, as well as women undergoing abortions.

On the ward, we conduct various improvement projects, and upon employment, there is an opportunity to join our improvement group.

There is also an opportunity to be trained in surgery where we operate on women under Propofol sedation.

We have a close collaboration with the abortion unit, Gynakuten, and the emergency department for victims of sexual assault.

This position includes rotation to another unit.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is humble, has the ability to understand someone else's perspective or situation, and has a respectful approach. You are also interested in contributing your knowledge and enthusiasm, taking initiative, and seeing opportunities for development within the organization. You combine independent work with a good ability to collaborate. In addition, you are solution-oriented and work selflessly.

Licensed nurse or midwife with at least 2 years of experience. It is advantageous if you have several years of experience in the profession and have worked nights before. You should have an interest in gynecological or surgical health care, but do not need to have any experience in it. Regardless of background, you will receive an individually tailored introduction.
