Medicine Reception - Nurse

The Medicine Reception is part of Internal Medicine, which is included in the Area of Medical Specialties.

Here, outpatient and day care activities are conducted within our medical specialty areas, such as lung and allergy, diabetes, endocrinology, neurology, hematology, and gastroenterology. We work evidence-based based on medical and pedagogical research and in interdisciplinary teams with nurses, dietitians, doctors, and social workers, all to offer patients the best possible care.

Job Description

We offer an interesting, varied, and educational job where you will be able to alternate within the hematology outpatient care, with both reception and day care. There is also the opportunity to work at the Coagulation Reception, depending on interest and previous experience. Your tasks will include your own reception work with scheduled patient visits, medication treatments, follow-ups, and telephone advice. You will also work with administrative tasks such as booking visits and managing incoming cases in Always Open. You will participate in doctor receptions and assist with various examinations.

We collaborate a lot in teams around the patients with professionals such as nurses, doctors, social workers, and dietitians. The reception's activities play a crucial role for the clinic's patients. Our goal is to make their care journey smooth by offering the right support at the right time. Many patients are followed for a longer time, and both they and their relatives need extensive support and information. As a nurse with us, you have the opportunity to make a big difference every day!

The working hours are during the day on weekdays. There is a possibility of rotation within the clinic.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is humble, has the ability to understand someone else's perspective or situation, and has a respectful approach. You are also interested in contributing with your knowledge and enthusiasm, you take your own initiatives and see opportunities for development within the organization. You combine independent work with a good ability to collaborate. Furthermore, you plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively and set and adhere to deadlines.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Competence Requirements

• Licensed nurse
• Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1

Meritorious

• Experience working in hematology and/or coagulation
• Experience working in outpatient care
• Previous experience and interest in working with clinical drug trials
