We have nursing assistants and nurses working with us, and the healthcare area is also led by nurses. We provide care in several different areas such as internal medicine, surgery, orthopedics, geriatrics, and palliative care. We are a total of 360 people distributed across nine wards and ASIH, currently having 173 care places.

We are an internal medicine acute care ward with 23 care places that are always open, focusing on infectious and lung diseases. The ward has new and fresh facilities and only single rooms. With us, you will receive an individually tailored introduction based on your competence and experience. If you are newly graduated, we offer you a safe start to your career through introduction and supervision in the ward. As a newly graduated nurse, you will also participate in our New Grad program, which combines skills training, lectures, and group discussions. For you who are an experienced nurse, there are great opportunities to use your knowledge in many different nursing areas with us.

With us, you will have a broad foundation to stand on in your role as a nurse. The ward is characterized by a good working climate and collaboration between different professions. The ward's greatest asset is our knowledgeable and committed employees, led by coaching nursing leaders/senior nurses and an available deputy ward manager who supports you in your clinical work. The work in the ward includes the usual tasks for a nurse in an inpatient ward at an acute hospital.

You should be proactive and positive, meticulous, structured, and flexible. You have personal maturity and a strong sense of interprofessional teamwork and a genuine interest in developing care. Always with the patient in focus and an empathetic approach towards both patients and colleagues, where you distinguish between the personal and the professional in relationships.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare.

Meritorious:

• Experience from acute somatic care.

Employment form:

Permanent employment, 3-shift.

As a nurse in a 24/7 operation, a working time agreement applies with the possibility of retention bonuses (in time) and shortened weekly working hours for night work. If you work concentrated weekends and more scheduled nights, you also have the opportunity for additional earned time that can be taken out in time off, money, or pension contributions.
