PTP Psychologist at Gustavsberg University Health Center

We are now looking for a PTP psychologist who wants to work clinically with adult patients.

Welcome to the psychosocial team at Gustavsberg University Health Center!

Gustavsberg University Health Center is beautifully located with a view of the water in Gustavsberg harbor. You can easily reach the health center by bus, which departs regularly from Slussen and takes just under 25 minutes.

Currently, 15 psychologists, 2 social workers, and 2 PTP psychologists work at the health center to conduct and develop first-line psychiatry for children, adolescents, and adults. Gustavsberg University Health Center has been a leader in developing work on mental health in primary care for many years and continuously works on development issues.

Patients with a wide range of issues and levels of functioning come to primary care. Our mission is to conduct qualified assessments, offer treatment for mild to moderate mental health issues, and refer and redirect cases that can receive better help, support, or treatment from other services. As a PTP psychologist at Gustavsberg Health Center, you will conduct structured assessment and treatment work, including follow-up and evaluation. Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibilities will be patient-oriented. The clinical work includes assessments with validated instruments, assessment of care level, referrals, psychoeducational work, individual CBT treatment, online or in groups, as well as careful follow-up and evaluation of treatment contacts. As a team member at GVC, you will also participate in the ongoing development work that the organization conducts.

Employment Type:

The position is a fixed-term employment for 12 months, starting from the date of commencement. Start date to be agreed upon in August 2026.

Qualifications:

Graduated psychologist with a focus on CBT. As the organization's goal is to provide good care and promote research and development, we also welcome interest in these areas.

Personal Qualities:

We are looking for someone who is fundamentally interested in working clinically, enjoys collaborating in a team, but can also work independently on development work. You should generally be interested in primary care's work regarding mental health. You need to be communicative and willing to collaborate with other professional groups and organizations. We also hope you enjoy working systematically with treatment evaluation. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and good collaboration skills.

  • background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-certified staff with patient contact.
