Join us in creating the future of our clinic!

Are you a specialist physician in child and adolescent psychiatry or general psychiatry with a particular interest in the neuropsychiatric field? BUP Neuropsychiatry West 2 at Brommaplan is now looking for a medically responsible physician for the clinic.

We are in the startup phase, which means great opportunities to influence structures, routines, and working methods together with a warm, engaged team where we help each other and thrive together.

BUP Stockholm Section Neuropsychiatry consists of BUP A Path In, as well as five neuropsychiatric clinics so far. The mission is urgent and shared: to assess and treat children and young people with neuropsychiatric difficulties. The units work with medical treatment, assessments, and investigations where the focus is on neuropsychiatric difficulties. With us, doctors, psychologists, nurses, medical secretaries, and managers collaborate to provide our patients with accessible, efficient, and patient-centered care. The working climate at BUP Neuropsychiatry is characterized by a focus on development, high competence, and good well-being.

Job Responsibilities

The medically responsible physician (MLA) is part of the unit's management team along with the unit manager and deputy unit manager. As an MLA, you have an in-depth clinical role that involves assisting the unit manager in ensuring that good and safe care is provided at the unit, ensuring the medical and child psychiatric perspective, and driving the unit's development work forward.

The role involves collaboration with MLAs in other units within the section as well as with MLAs at the section level.

As a specialist physician, your main tasks will be to conduct neuropsychiatric assessments of children and young people in collaboration with a psychologist according to national guidelines and BUP Stockholm's process maps. Although we do not offer pharmacological treatment at our unit, there is an opportunity to work with this if desired, thus allowing you to combine assessment work with medical treatment. You will introduce and supervise junior doctors and residents as needed and provide support to them and other colleagues at the clinic.

You, like all employees, are an important part of the team and have the opportunity to contribute to continuous development by participating in the ongoing development work of the organization.

As a specialist physician within BUP Stockholm, you will also participate in on-call duties as needed.

There is the possibility of remote work about one day a week, depending on the needs of the organization.

Qualifications

You who are applying should be a specialist physician in child and adolescent psychiatry or general psychiatry and have clinical work experience in the field. You are accustomed to working according to new research and evidence-based methods. You should have a particular interest in the neuropsychiatric field.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for a colleague who is confident and structured in their professional practice, with good judgment and collaboration skills, who can contribute to a positive work environment characterized by high professionalism. If you are interested in the digitalization of care processes, this is an advantage. We place great importance on personal suitability.

We Offer

BUP creates good conditions for you to develop and excel in your profession. As an employee, you have benefits such as free public healthcare, extra compensation during parental leave, the possibility of salary exchange, occupational pension, and insurance. We also offer flexible working hours and wellness compensation (5,000 SEK per year).

We look forward to your application!
