Our fine health center is located in Nacka hospital near Ektorps Centrum, Nacka municipality.

There are good communications and a short distance to Slussen and the City. The area consists of a mixed population ranging from small children to an older generation. Ektorps health center is a well-functioning workplace where we work together to develop the operations. We create our workplace together and we have the patient's focus in all situations.

At the health center, nurses, district nurses, psychologists, medical secretaries, and nursing assistants work together with doctors and home care staff. We have an open dialogue and close teamwork in all patient contact.

Our home care group consists of 4 district nurses/nurses and 5 nursing assistants as well as a home care doctor.

Job Responsibilities

The work involves common tasks for district nurses or nurses within the health center's home care. This includes home visits with wound dressings, sample collections, medication distribution, but also planning and conversations with relatives or home care services. Our opening hours for basic home care are weekdays from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, and the schedule will be agreed upon together when employment is relevant.

Qualifications

Nursing education with experience in primary care and home care. You should also have good computer skills and experience with the TakeCare journal system. It is advantageous, but not necessary, if you have district nurse education and if you have experience acting as a coordinator.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.

Employment Type

Permanent position, full-time. A probationary period may be applied.

  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
