About us

Aleris Rehab Station is a national and international center for specialized neurological rehabilitation. We are located in Frösundavik in Solna, in bright and modern premises in the lush Hagaparken, close to both water and the city.

Here, we work in interdisciplinary teams with patients who have neurological diseases or injuries, orthopedic issues, or rehabilitation needs after surgery. Our operations are characterized by a strong team spirit, well-developed working methods, and a vibrant educational and research environment.

About the role

As an occupational therapist with us, you will have a varied, educational, and developing summer position. In this role, you will work with:

• Assessing and training activity ability, hand function, and cognition

• Prescribing assistive devices, conducting home visits, and writing certificates

• Working both individually and in groups

• Collaborating closely with physiotherapists, rehab assistants, nurses, doctors, psychologists, and other professionals

You will receive a well-thought-out introduction and access to a mentor who will support you throughout your summer position.

About you

We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist or an occupational therapy student from semester 5. You have a genuine interest in rehabilitation, enjoy teamwork, and are curious, attentive, and solution-oriented.

You meet patients in various life situations with respect, empathy, and commitment – and enjoy motivating and supporting them in their rehabilitation journey.
