Our Operations

This advertisement and position concern Värmdö Municipality's two special housing facilities.

* Djuröhemmet is a municipal special housing facility with 55 apartments. Djuröhemmet is located in an archipelago environment in the center of Djurö.

* Gustavsgården is a municipal special housing facility located in pleasant surroundings in the center of Gustavsberg. There are 101 apartments here.

The facilities cater to both somatic and dementia care.

Your Role

As a nurse, you play a key role in coordinating and planning the elderly's healthcare needs. You work in a team with assistant nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, and you supervise nursing staff. You collaborate with the responsible physician, relatives/near ones, assistance officers, and other stakeholders.

Your Experience

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse capable of working independently and prioritizing your tasks. As a person, you are responsible, service-oriented, flexible, and have a genuine interest in people. In our elderly care services, we expect you to be good at building relationships, making contact, and maintaining close dialogue with others in the organization.

For this position, presenting a valid extract from the police criminal record is a prerequisite for employment.

The employment is for hourly work as needed and during the summer, daytime.
