Do you want to make a difference for people with psychosis? We are now looking for a registered nurse for our excellent psychosis team at the Psychiatric Specialist Clinic in Nacka!
As a nurse with us in the psychosis outpatient care, you will become part of a dedicated team working to create a safer everyday life for people with psychosis and their relatives.
In 2026, Stockholm County Council (SLSO) will launch Psychosis Care Stockholm – a newly formed organization that brings together all psychosis outpatient and inpatient care units within SLSO into a joint operation.
Working as a nurse in our team
As a psychosis nurse in outpatient care in Nacka, you will work in a multidisciplinary psychosis team together with doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists. In the team, you work closely together, and everyone contributes their unique competence.
As a psychosis nurse, you are responsible, among other things, for regular follow-up of patients' well-being and health, administration and follow-up of medication, annual checks, and coordination of interventions. We place great emphasis on empirical and evidence-based treatment.

The clinic is located in the nature-friendly Ektorp Centre, approximately 15 minutes from Slussen. We offer a pleasant and well-structured workplace with good atmosphere, short decision-making paths, and well-designed care processes where we put the patients first.

You are:
- A registered nurse with documented experience in psychiatric care.
- Have a strong interest in psychosis care, are accustomed to taking own responsibility, working independently, making own decisions, and are a good team player who values teamwork.
- A specialist nurse degree in psychiatry and experience of psychosis care are meritorious.

In patient-facing work within Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before a decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks upon employment.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment.
- Requires, in addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
