Specialist Physician in Ophthalmology for a Private Eye Clinic in Stockholm

Dignus Medical is currently seeking a Specialist Physician in Ophthalmology for an established eye clinic in Stockholm that operates under contract with the region. The clinic has grown steadily in recent years and continues to expand both its patient flow and range of services. Here, you will work alongside specialist physicians, orthoptists, and optometrists, offering a varied daily routine where you can work with outpatient services and/or one or more of the more specialized areas (see below). Patients arrive prepared, providing excellent conditions for efficiency and high medical quality.

About the Position

• Permanent employment at least 75%
• Monthly salary: 100,000–120,000 SEK
• Approximately 20 prepared patients per day
• Start date by agreement

We are looking for someone who

• Is a Specialist Physician in Ophthalmology
• Works independently and feels confident in the specialist role
• Has a professional and patient-focused approach
• Thrives in an operation with clear structure, defined responsibilities, and strong team integration

It is an advantage if you have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Laser treatments, such as for posterior cataracts, glaucoma, or diabetic retinopathy
• Investigation and follow-up of diabetes-related eye diseases
• Outpatient eye surgeries, such as surgery for eyelid diseases

The broader your competence, the greater the opportunity to tailor the position to your experience and interests.

The clinic is an established player in eye care in Stockholm and is in a phase of continued growth. The operation offers a wide range of eye care services under contract with Region Stockholm and continues to develop in line with increasing demand.
