Are you a nurse interested in eating disorder care?
Stockholm Center for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the largest specialist clinics in the world for patients with eating disorders and receives patients of all ages.
We have a well-developed operation with outpatient care, day care, and inpatient care for both adults, children, and adolescents. Today we have over 280 employees. In early 2026, we will open another outpatient clinic for children and young people with eating disorders in Södermalm, Stockholm.
The expanded mission that SCÄ has received means that the child and adolescent section is growing, and the unit for Outpatient Care for Children and Young People needs to expand its staff. We are now looking forward to welcoming another colleague to our team.
Please read more about our operations here (#).
Outpatient Clinic for Children and Young People
Provides specialized eating disorder care for patients under 18 years old. Currently, there is a unit for children and young people with about 15 employees, and in 2026, another outpatient unit for children and young people will be established.
We employ nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, and doctors. Our primary treatment focus is family-based therapy (FBT). We have supervision from James Lock, who developed the method, and in 2026 we will broaden the treatment offerings and have regular supervision.
Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for someone who wants a stimulating job and to develop both the organization and themselves. Your responsibilities will include performing somatic checks, medication follow-ups, and supporting families in their treatment. The treatments we offer are evidence-based family therapy (FBT). Utilizing and strengthening the family's and network's resources is one of the cornerstones of our work.
We work both in teams and individually. You will participate in treatment conferences, supervision, and method development together with the rest of the team. Your tasks will include following up on the clinic's quality work. Documentation is done in the Take Care journal system.
Employment Type:
Permanent position. Full-time, 40:00 hours/week. Monday-Friday, daytime.
Qualifications:
You are a licensed nurse, preferably with further education in psychiatry or other psychotherapeutic training. Experience in eating disorder care and working with families from child and adolescent psychiatry is a requirement.
If you are a Bergen instructor and/or CPR instructor, this is considered an advantage.
Personal Qualities:
We are looking for someone with an interest in eating disorder issues who wants to contribute their knowledge for better care. You are responsible, secure, and structured, and have the ability to make independent assessments and decisions to drive care forward. You are comfortable meeting people in difficult life situations and interacting with entire families.
Our Benefits:
SLSO creates good conditions for you as an employee to develop and excel in your profession. As an employee, you have benefits such as free healthcare up to the high-cost protection, extra compensation during parental leave, occupational pension, and insurance. We also apply flexible working hours, wellness hours, and 5000 SEK in wellness benefits per calendar year.
