The Social Administration is responsible for authority exercise, ordering services, and self-management in the areas of individual and family care, LSS, and social psychiatry. Your tasks

We are now looking for a preparedness coordinator for the Social Administration. In the role of preparedness coordinator, you have a central position in coordinating and developing work with crisis preparedness, resilience, and civil defense within the administration. You work to strengthen the administration's preparedness to maintain essential services even during extraordinary events and heightened readiness. In addition to collaboration within the municipality, you also collaborate with other essential actors in Linköping.

You work to identify, minimize, and prevent risks within the social administration's area of responsibility. The role involves both operational and strategic tasks. You work on conducting exercises, as well as acting and following up during real events. You also work on developing continuity and crisis plans, administration-specific routines, and governing documents. The work also involves monitoring the external environment where you keep track of legal requirements and stay updated on the situation locally, nationally, and internationally.

As a preparedness coordinator, you play an important role in strengthening the municipality's resilience.

Your workplace

The assignment as a preparedness coordinator is located in the Unit for Facilities and Security within the Social Administration. The administration to which you are organizationally attached will have overall responsibility for authority exercise, planning, ordering, execution, and follow-up within social services.

The workplace is centrally located. Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours. Based on the nature of the tasks, opportunities for remote work are offered.

You who are applying

We are looking for someone with a university degree in crisis preparedness, total defense, or community safety, or another relevant focus assessed by the employer. You have experience working with preparedness and security. We also see that you have experience working with overarching plans and strategies, such as continuity plans. You also have experience conducting risk assessments and have good knowledge of governance and legislation in the total defense area.

It is considered an advantage if you have experience working with preparedness and security in the public sector, or if you have good knowledge of working within public administration and in a politically governed organization. If you have worked with cybersecurity and information security, that is also an advantage. We also see it as advantageous if you have experience in project management, investigation, and analytical work. If you have specifically worked with risk and vulnerability analyses (RSA), that is also considered an advantage.

The position involves working to establish plans and strategies, so it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. A B driver's license is required as the position involves travel within the municipality.

We are looking for someone who is clear, strategic, and analytical. You communicate clearly and ensure that messages are conveyed. You think strategically and have a broad perspective on issues. You have the ability to see the long-term significance of things and adapt your actions accordingly. You work well with complex issues, as well as analyze and break down problems into their components. You take responsibility for your task, work towards goals, and focus on results. You also have a good ability to change your direction when goals change.

In this recruitment, we use personality and problem-solving tests as part of our assessment.

Some of our tasks are classified for security purposes, which means that a security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may be conducted before a hiring decision is made.
