Peab Byggservice is now looking for a Production Support Manager.

As the Production Support Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing resources and working methods within the Production Support Group. We are looking for someone who has an interest in working with complex and challenging issues in order to find solutions for the business.

 

Possible locations: Stockholm, Linköping, Jönköping, Gothenburg, Malmö, Helsingborg. Geographically, this means work in southern Sweden, from Stockholm/Uppsala and southward. The position includes travel, and you are expected to have a B driver's license.

About the role

In the role of Production Support Manager, you will be responsible for production support in our two regions. The group includes areas such as environment, quality, work environment, purchasing, and administration. You will be responsible for a team of approximately 7 people. In your role, you will be responsible for evaluating and developing Byggservice processes and ensuring that working methods are updated within the areas for which the group is responsible.  You will have primary responsibility for quality issues and be part of a network in Peab's construction business regarding quality. You are an experienced and committed leader who wants to help develop our construction service operations. You will be part of our management team and report to the regional manager in Byggservice Region Mitt. You will closely collaborate with our other support functions such as finance, HR, and sales/marketing.  You will also be part of a network together with corresponding support resources within Peab's construction business.

Your profile:

 

We are looking for someone who has:

 

  • A relevant university degree in construction engineering or a related field, or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience.
  • At least five years of experience leading projects in construction or related industries.
  • Good knowledge of the construction process, construction legislation, and contract law.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of work environment, environment, quality, and purchasing issues.
  • Strong ability to communicate, collaborate, and build good relationships.
  • Very good knowledge of quality management within ISO standards.
  • Good understanding of a process-based working method.
  • Experience in change management.
  • Experience with personnel responsibility.
  • A business-oriented and customer-focused approach.
  • A strong commitment, drive, and sense of responsibility.
