Peab Byggservice is now looking for a Work Environment Coordinator for its operations.

The task is to provide the right conditions for the business to create safe and healthy workplaces with a good safety culture. You will support our 2 regions that have a geographical area from Stockholm/Uppsala and southward.

Possible locations: Stockholm, Linköping, Jönköping, Gothenburg, Malmö, Helsingborg

The job involves travel. You are expected to have a B driver's license.

About the role

In the role of Work Environment Coordinator, you will contribute to the development of Peab's systematic work environment efforts and actively follow up on operations to anchor and coach line managers to comply with Peab's working methods. You are an expert in work environment issues, monitoring legislation and regulations in the area, and keeping the business informed of important changes. If necessary, you will assist in developing instructions, routines, etc. for work environment efforts. You will be our consultative and operational advisor to the business within our two construction service regions, with a primary focus on the physical work environment. You provide guidance in the area based on the policies, guidelines, and processes we have in the business that are based on the legal requirements we need to consider and manage.

You work closely with the business and find it easy to build relationships and gain support for your issues. You are also skilled at communicating with the business at different levels. You will also assist with, for example, the introduction of new employees, be able to work operationally in larger complex projects, and be involved in the development of Peab Byggservice's own IT systems.

You can act as an investigation leader in investigations of serious incidents, as well as coach the business in the investigation work. Based on analyses and trends of accidents, incidents, and risk observations, you work on continuous improvements to contribute to Peab's vision of zero accidents. In this role, you will have internal contacts with work environment specialists in the support of AO Bygg and others in similar roles in other regions. You work independently towards set goals in close collaboration with the Production Support Manager.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a university degree in a relevant field, such as work environment, engineering, or construction, as well as experience in the industry and/or qualified work environment work. As a person, you are analytical, structured, and have the ability to see the big picture. You have a strong interest in work environment issues and are development-oriented. You are a good communicator as the work involves anchoring and ensuring that work methods in the work environment are maintained and followed. You have an administrative flair and can handle different types of systems with ease. It is important that you are good at creating and maintaining good collaborative relationships. You should also share our core values of down-to-earth, developing, personal, and reliable, as they are fundamental to what we do. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
