About the Workplace
Sector HR/Payroll
HR holds a central function with a focus on the benefit for our managers and employees. We work both strategically and operationally within the employer policy area such as competence supply, work environment, employer branding, wage formation, leadership development, and more. It is important for us to be proactive and to work forward-leaning as an employer, which we do through new working methods and by constantly sharpening our skills.
At the workplace, you are surrounded by colleagues who are a mixed group of personalities, working on creative ideas while also leveraging previous experiences and many years of expertise.
The sector also includes the municipality's wonderful payroll team, which includes both payroll and system administration.
We are located in brand new office premises centrally located in Östersund, where we have an activity-based working method. The work combines on-site and remote work.
Your Responsibilities
As an HR consultant, you will work as direct support for managers in matters such as labor law, collaboration with unions, recruitment, and contract interpretation. You will also train managers in employer-related issues. It may also involve leading workshops. Together with your colleagues, you will also work on strategic aspects within the area.
About You and Your Skills
To thrive in this role, you need to enjoy working in an advisory and consultative capacity.
We expect you to be independent and able to drive issues. We value collaboration, and besides close cooperation with your HR and payroll colleagues, it is important to listen to the organization's needs for support and development.
We want you to be educated in the Personnel and Working Life program or have an equivalent education as assessed by the employer.
We hope you have experience working as managerial support within HR.
