JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a budget and debt advisor/deceased estate administrator, you will work with advising the municipality's residents who need financial guidance and wish for support with budget planning and debt counseling. You will assist individuals in negotiations with creditors, collection agencies, and authorities, and you will help with applications for debt restructuring. To reach more citizens and work preventively, part of the job includes giving lectures to groups and holding receptions.

As a deceased estate administrator, your tasks will include meeting relatives during the estate declaration, which occurs when there are no assets in the estate. Administration of estate management occurs when the Municipal Executive takes over responsibility for the estate.

The work requires a sense of responsibility, attention to detail, good computer skills, and the ability to work independently. As a person, you are attentive and capable of meeting individuals based on their specific situations. You contribute to the collective effort in the workgroup to continuously improve the operations. The work also involves participation in the other activities of the Social Services.

There is an opportunity to work up to 100% during 2025, as a temporary position with reception and administrative tasks within Social Services. More information about this can be obtained during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a degree in social work or another education and/or work experience that the employer deems suitable.

A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.

Experience in previous work with debt and budget counseling is an advantage.

Previous experience in social services and experience in counseling and authority exercise is an advantage.

It is advantageous to have knowledge of relevant laws for the position, such as the Data Protection Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, the Debt Restructuring Act, and the Secrecy Act.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
