Welcome to our team of medical secretaries!

We welcome a new employee to our team of medical secretaries at the Lung Unit.

Our team of medical secretaries consists of three people. Here, you will be part of a stimulating community and become an important part of the teamwork alongside wonderful colleagues.

As a medical secretary, you will be placed at the Lung and Allergy Clinic.

We take care of patients with various lung diseases including COPD, asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, sarcoidosis, as well as those who have or are being investigated for lung cancer. The clinic also follows patients with sleep apnea syndrome, oxygen therapy, and ventilator treatment.

We also see patients with various allergies.

This means that we have a wide variety of work as medical secretaries. In addition to outpatient work, we also handle documentation for patients who are hospitalized in the lung department.

We work together as a team but also have close collaboration with other professional groups (nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, unit managers, and physiotherapists).

There is an opportunity for remote work to some extent.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your work with us mainly involves being responsible for medical documentation in the COSMIC journal system, handling referrals, scheduling, mail management, preparing journals for scanning, and other handling of medical records, as well as diagnosis classification.

We work according to RAK (Correct Use of Competence) where we as administrators play a significant role in development work and the creation of improved or simplified working methods for all professional groups in the unit. With this, we offer you a workplace where you can develop and learn new things in your professional role.

QUALIFICATIONS

Medical secretary training/medical secretary/healthcare administrator. Experience in the profession and knowledge of COSMIC and DRG is an advantage.

You can organize your work efficiently, have a positive attitude, are flexible, responsible, and have the ability to see the big picture. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and good collaboration skills.
