Employment Consultant EVU

The project Own Path for Youth (EVU) is funded by the European Social Fund and runs from 2025 to 2028. The purpose of the project is to reach out to young people, primarily aged 18-21, from particularly vulnerable areas and offer individual support for work or studies. The goal is to reduce economic and social vulnerability. The project collaborates closely with other actors in social services to reach young people who want support. We support participants in all areas of life by working based on the methods IPS and CM. We are now looking for an employment consultant who will work based on IPS. The project is under the Lumena unit, which consists of the Alis operation and the ESF project Lumena+.
 

Your Responsibilities

You support participants based on their own wishes to choose, obtain, and retain work or studies. The support is tailored individually. You establish contacts with employers and develop your own matching skills. The method we work from is called IPS, Individual Support for Work (please read more on the National Board of Health and Welfare's website). The method helps us in our daily work with principles for our work and a clear structure. An important part of the job also involves developing collaboration with various employers. The position is aimed at the target group aged 18-21 from particularly vulnerable areas who wish for support in work or studies.
 

Who are you?

Requirements:
- You have a university degree in the field, preferably in behavioral science or occupational therapy.
- You have experience working with people with different conditions.
- You enjoy working out in companies with participants and can build support in the work situation together with employers and participants.

Meritorious:
- You have practical experience and training in the IPS method.
- You have experience in rehabilitative work methods.
