Your Mission
As an intelligence analyst with language skills, you belong to a unit within the Signals Intelligence department. The department works with the collection of raw material, processing and analysis, and delivers intelligence reports and other services to the agency's clients. The unit has close cooperation with the Armed Forces.
You are responsible for methodically searching, processing, and analyzing collected data and information, and then producing intelligence reports through which the results and conclusions of this work are shared with the unit's clients. You are expected to have good language skills and be able to produce high-quality materials. You can work independently to find the essentials when processing various materials, while you will also work closely with others on many tasks. Furthermore, you are responsible for monitoring developments within your production area and assisting in adapting production to the needs of the operations and clients.
The unit is in a development phase, and you may also be assigned certain operational development tasks. To thrive in the role, you should have a certain interest in military issues and technology.
You Can
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree in, for example, political science, law, military science, technology, or another field that the employer deems relevant. Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience.
- Good knowledge of Russian, especially regarding listening and reading comprehension.
- The ability to write, understand, and communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
- Good computer skills and an ease in adapting to new technical systems and tools.
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- Good knowledge of other languages.
- Experience working in security, foreign, or defense policy areas.
- Experience in intelligence work and/or technology-oriented work.
- Experience producing materials and reports in a government agency or investigative work.
- Knowledge of and/or experience from FRA's clients.
- Military service.
- Internship at an embassy.
- A valid driving license (B).

More Information
The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. Before employment, you will undergo a security screening in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment comes with an obligation to be placed in wartime.
