The area of financial assistance consists of five units: one reception unit and four investigation units.

Here, social workers and financial officers work closely together, but with different parts of the processing process. The social workers handle the social investigation and create plans for individuals, while the financial officers are responsible for the financial investigation and make decisions regarding financial assistance.

Your role as a financial officer

In your role as a financial officer, you will be responsible for the financial investigation of financial assistance in close collaboration with the social workers. The work also involves close cooperation with both internal and external partners.

As a financial officer, you will receive applications for financial assistance every month, perform financial calculations on the applications, and make decisions. The role also includes various controls according to our annual cycle as well as other associated administrative tasks.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school education
• Previous experience working in social services
• Good knowledge of the Office suite and is an experienced system user

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience working in financial assistance
• Experience with umbrella systems
