About the Position

As a Senior Financial Assistant at Verdis, you will have a varied and responsible role with broad contact areas. You will be responsible for a range of tasks that are important for the business and ensure that our financial processes are of high quality, accurate, and comply with applicable legislation and internal procedures. You will report to the CFO and work closely with other employees in the finance department. We are a close-knit team – we work hard to achieve our goals and make sure to have fun along the way.

This position is a full-time role, and the work takes place on-site in our new fine premises on Konsumentvägen in Älvsjö.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

Ongoing Accounting and Reporting:

• Ongoing bookkeeping, monthly and annual financial statements, and reconciliation of balance accounts
• Responsible for fixed asset accounting, including setup, disposal, and depreciation
• Assisting in the handling of customer and supplier invoices
• Preparation of cash flow reports
• Preparation of income tax returns and assisting in annual reports
• Reporting of VAT and payroll taxes to the Tax Agency

System and Bank Management:

• Ensuring correct bank transactions and monitoring liquidity on the company's bank accounts
• Administrator for, and contact with, external suppliers such as Visma and Exsitec

Development and Quality Assurance:

• Active participation in budgeting processes and audits
• Documentation and streamlining of financial processes according to the company's routines
• Ensuring that the chart of accounts and cost centers are updated and used correctly

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone with several years of experience as a financial assistant or equivalent, who is now ready to further develop within accounting in a role where you have significant opportunities to influence financial processes, routines, and working methods. You have a relevant education in finance or accounting and are confident in ongoing accounting work, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting.

You are used to working in various financial systems and have a structured and methodical approach. You thrive in a role with significant responsibility, are proactive, and actively contribute to developing and streamlining routines and processes.

As a person, you are very meticulous, solution-oriented, and have good collaboration skills. You find it easy to communicate with different parts of the organization and can handle periods of high workload effectively.
