The Assignment

The Municipal Executive Office is now looking for you who want to work as a ballot receiver in the election on September 13, 2026. You will work together with five other ballot receivers in one of our 42 electoral districts in Norrtälje Municipality. The work will take place from 8 AM until the polling stations close and the votes are counted after 8 PM. You will undergo a mandatory training session for the assignment between week 33 and week 36.

Job Description

• Maintain the voter register
• Verify voters' identities
• Distribute ballot envelopes and assist voters in casting their votes if needed
• Ensure order in and around the polling place
• Check advance votes

Other related tasks associated with ballot reception.

What You Need to Bring

You must be at least 18 years old and be meticulous and orderly, as well as have good Swedish language skills.

It is an advantage if you have worked with elections before.
