Polish State Tourist Office is a government agency tasked with promoting Poland as a unique and attractive travel destination. Our office is located in Stockholm, and we work on marketing throughout the Nordic countries: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland.
We are now looking for an engaged and driven employee for the position of PR & Administration. The role is both creative and administrative, focusing on strengthening Poland's position as a tourist destination.
Responsibilities
In this varied role, your main responsibilities will include:
Communication and Content Production
- Creating and adapting texts for the website (including SEO optimization) and newsletters aimed at both individual tourists and the tourism industry in the Nordics.
- Producing content for both organic and paid campaigns, focusing on social media and AdWords.
- Collaborating with translators to ensure high quality in all published material.
Tourist Information
- Responding to inquiries from tourists via email, phone, and in-person visits.
- Organizing and managing the distribution of tourist brochures and other materials.
Marketing and PR
- Planning and executing marketing campaigns, both digitally and offline, in collaboration with the team.
- Managing media contacts and media monitoring, as well as updating and using CRM systems.
- Participating in the planning and execution of PR events, including tourism fairs and workshops.
- Collaborating with partners in both Sweden and Poland to strengthen our presence and network.
Administration
- Responsible for purchasing office supplies and services, including handling tender requests.
- Acting as a mentor for interns and assisting in their development.
- Performing other job-related tasks and projects as directed by the manager, to support the overall goals and priorities of the organization.
- Collecting, analyzing, and reporting statistics related to tourist flows, campaign results, and marketing activities.
- Evaluating and reporting the impact of PR and marketing efforts, including data from social media, website usage, press trips, and event participation.
- Presenting analysis results in clear reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Compiling detailed reports after completed press trips, including an overview of participants, activities conducted, and the published articles or media coverage generated by the trip.
- Analyzing the impact of the press trip and evaluating its effect on Poland's visibility in the media, focusing on reach, target audience, and tone.
- Documenting lessons learned and areas for improvement to optimize future press trips.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Is structured, self-driven, and has a solution-oriented approach.
- Has excellent communication skills and can express themselves well in both spoken and written Polish, Swedish, and English.
- Has experience or a strong interest in PR, marketing, and digital communication.
- Has good knowledge of social media and its use in marketing.
- It is an advantage if you have knowledge of Poland as a travel destination and its culture.
- Holds a valid B driver's license.
- Is flexible to travel within the Nordics and Poland.
