Financial Inspector at the Financial Supervisory Authority
Do you have several years of relevant experience and want to contribute to the development of future supervisory work? We are now looking for an engaged financial inspector who, in a new role, will have the opportunity to contribute to stability and quality in the financial system.
About the job
As a financial inspector in the Insurance Supervision department, you will develop supervisory methodology and make processes efficient, data-driven, and adapted to a changing environment. You will work with strategic issues, analyses, and tools that improve risk identification and decision-making. The role involves creating structures and processes for quality and efficiency, driving data-driven development with visualizations, and producing materials for quantitative and qualitative analyses. You will develop tools for data collection and visualization, analyze supervisory materials, and coordinate collaborations between different experts. Additionally, you will lead projects focusing on analysis and pedagogical communication to strengthen risk-based and proportional approaches.
Your education and experience
We are looking for someone who:
- has an academic degree in economics, computer science, statistics, or another equivalent education
- has experience in producing materials for quantitative and qualitative analyses, and working with analytical tools
- has several years of relevant work experience, preferably in the financial sector or supervisory activities
- is an experienced user of the Office suite
- expresses themselves well in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you:
- have experience from insurance or occupational pension companies
- have experience in working with processes and leading projects
- have experience in data collection and basic analysis for decision-making materials
- have worked with both qualitative and quantitative analysis from, for example, the Government Offices, the National Debt Office, or another government agency
- have experience in packaging, analyzing, and communicating complex issues in a pedagogical and structured manner, making the message clear and accessible to different target groups
- have expertise in AI-related analytical methods or digitalization of processes
- have experience in data collection, basic analysis, and producing decision-making materials.
