Technical Sales Representative at Saltängen

About the Role

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing the sales of our products and services used in energy and process plants. You will work closely with our customers and become their primary point of contact, focusing on long-term relationships and optimized solutions that contribute to secure operations and high availability.

Your role includes systematically analyzing the market with a focus on both existing and potential customers as well as relevant customer segments. You will actively participate in the development of sales strategies and sales plans and be responsible for sales to customers in the energy and process industry as well as to manufacturing companies. The work involves conducting customer visits where you perform needs analyses and hold technical presentations, while also preparing calculations and quotes and driving the business all the way from first contact to closure.

You will closely follow market developments, including customers' project plans and investment decisions, to act proactively and identify new opportunities. The role also includes representing the company at customer events, fairs, and technical seminars. You will closely collaborate with the company's product managers to ensure that deliveries meet customer needs and expectations. In addition, you will also be responsible for project management of larger audit assignments.

We are looking for

We are looking for someone with a technical background, preferably in energy, process, mechanical engineering, or operations and maintenance, or possess equivalent competence. We prefer that you have experience from combined heat and power, district heating, process industry, or the pulp and paper industry, and have previously worked with technical sales, project sales, or in a service or technical role with customer contact. You may also come from a practical role in the field and are ready to take the next step in your career as a technical sales representative.

You have a good ability to quickly understand manufacturing processes and engage in technical dialogues at both operational and strategic levels. As a person, you find it easy to build relationships and create trust with both customers and partners. You have good computer skills, are comfortable with MS Office, and have experience working with business systems. For the role, it is required that you are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As the position involves regular travel, you need to have a B driver's license and enjoy being out with customers.
