We are looking for an experienced strategic buyer for an exciting consulting assignment within the manufacturing industry. Here you will play a central role in driving supplier strategies, negotiations, and commercial processes that create both efficiency and cost savings.

You will:

• Be responsible for a number of suppliers and their contracts

• Support projects and programs with commercial responsibility

• Continuously evaluate market competitiveness in the supplier portfolio

• Prepare inquiries, evaluate offers, negotiate, and place purchase orders

• Lead cross-functional teams focused on improvements 💡

• Ensure that purchasing strategies, policies, and procedures are followed

The role involves many internal and external contacts as well as travel within Sweden in connection with supplier evaluations.

• 3–7 years of experience in strategic purchasing

• Preferably a background in the manufacturing industry

• Documented experience in negotiation and supplier development

• Familiarity with working with ERP systems, purchasing systems, and Excel

Work model: Hybrid, 3 days/week on-site in Linköping
Assignment period: As soon as possible and approximately 1 year ahead
Extension: Possibility for extension exists
Travel: Occurs within Sweden in connection with supplier evaluations
Scope: Full-time 100%
