The Assistance Unit in Årjäng consists of 2.5 assessors who investigate according to the Social Services Act (SoL). The Assistance Unit is part of the Individual and Family Care.

The staff together have high competence, broad experience, and a strong focus on putting the individual's needs at the center. We offer a flexible working method, some opportunity to work from home, accessible leadership, and wonderful colleagues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as a social welfare assessor involves conducting qualified investigations, making and following up decisions according to the Social Services Act. The job includes implementing coordinated individual plans to provide cohesive care and support with the user at the center.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone who is a social worker, holds a degree in social care, or another equivalent higher education that is relevant to the field. The work requires that you are well acquainted with primarily the Administrative Procedure Act and the Social Services Act. Investigative work is meritorious, as is knowledge of the elderly target group.

As a person, you have a high degree of personal maturity where you are secure, stable, and thrive in a self-directed role, where you easily take your own initiatives. You are structured with a good ability to organize and prioritize your work effectively.

You should have good collaboration skills and a professional approach, as the social welfare assessor constantly has contacts with many different partners.

You also have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. Experience with the Lifecare operational system is meritorious. A valid driver's license (B) is required. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

OTHER

To perform certain tasks that involve sensitive information, employees may need to log in with their personal e-identification. E-identification is an electronic identity document that can be compared to other forms of identification, such as a passport.
