About the Role

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a small team around a 22-year-old woman in Uddevalla – a vibrant, humorous, and cheerful person with a neurological disability. She has a lot of energy and will, and with the right support, she can live a rich and active life.

She primarily communicates through body language, sounds, pictures, and TAKK (Signs as Alternative and Complementary Communication). Therefore, we are looking for someone with a genuine interest in human interactions, communication, and collaboration.

Your Days with Us

With us, the job is about creating conditions for quality of life – both for the user and the team. You will, among other things:

• Be a safe support during transfers and daily routines
• Provide care and assistance
• Be involved in motor training and physical activity
• Participate in leisure activities such as horseback riding, sailing, music, swimming, and play
• Contribute to communication and structure using signs, pictures, and other supportive methods

Who Are You?

We believe you are an active and secure person who enjoys working closely with others. Perhaps you already have experience from LSS or care and assistance – or you simply have a big heart and the right attitude.

• Have a calm, patient, and attentive approach
• Enjoy moving and creating meaningful activities
• Have the ability to meet challenging situations in a low-arousal manner
• See the importance of fostering independence in the user – you enable, not control

Practical Information

• Working hours: Day, evening, weekend, and night (on-call may occur)
• Employment: Temporary position 40-80% with the possibility of extension
• Location: In the user's home and wherever she is
• Salary: According to collective agreement (KFO–Kommunal)
• Requirements: B driver's license, good Swedish, and a police background check
