Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant demands a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a man in his 50s living in Bara - just outside Malmö

• has previous experience in care/support work

• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• is physically fit

• is smoke-free

It is also an advantage if you:

• have a B driver's license

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 40%. The job involves work during daytime and evening on weekdays and weekends.

The working hours are as follows:

Week 1 Monday 09:00-14:30 Friday 09:00-14:30 Sunday 09:00-13:30 Week 2 Monday 09:00-14:30 Wednesday 16:00-21:55 Friday 17:30-21:55

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements.

Start date

2026 02 01 or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
