We are looking for an experienced communicator to enhance the attractiveness of the Fyrbodal region.

About us

The Fyrbodal Municipal Association is one of four regional municipal associations in Västra Götaland. We are a collaborative organization for 14 municipalities with a total of 270,000 inhabitants. The association aims to stimulate cooperation between municipalities, businesses, and other stakeholders in areas such as infrastructure & public transport, business, climate & environment, culture, skills supply, education, and healthcare. At the same time, the association should also serve as a meeting place, a forum for innovations, ideas, and development.

About the role

You will primarily work as a communicator within several parallel projects.

As a communicator at the Fyrbodal Municipal Association, you will belong to a communication team that works with both external and internal communication. The team works agilely, closely with operations, and ensures that projects and activities are communicated effectively to the relevant target audience. You will work independently, but also in a team, and the work is both strategic and operational. In this role, it is important to have the ability to prioritize incoming tasks based on goals and strategies. You are expected to be proactive and able to identify what communicative efforts are needed and how these should be packaged. Your tasks include planning, implementing, and evaluating communicative efforts and publishing them in relevant channels. In the operational work, it involves writing texts for web, social media, and print. You should be a skilled photographer and also able to produce film. A central part of the position is to be able to produce podcast and film recordings in the studio. As a communicator, you will also have contact with external organizations, companies, and consultants regarding communication in projects.

About you

• We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in media and communication studies or another higher education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Very good writing skills.
• Experience in studio recording and studio technology.
• Several years of experience in film production including subtitling and editing.
• Experience and good knowledge of web publishing, preferably in WordPress.
• Good knowledge of photography.
• Experience working with social media.
• Driving license B.
